Serves: 2

Preparation time: 40

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour 375 ml
  • 1 egg
  • 1 bunchparsley
  • TABLE HUMMUS TOMATO
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • Handful kale
  • 1 lemon
  • Butter 50g
  • Parmesan 20g
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 8 cashews
  • Honey
  • Chilli

Preparation

Mix TOMATO TABLE HUMMUS with flour, egg, and finely chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper. The dough must be thoroughly kneaded; make sure that it is not too heavy and sticky. At the same time, boil approx. 3 litres of water in a medium-sized pot. Shape the gnocchi dough into rolls and cut  into pieces. When the water in the pot isboiling, throw the pieces of dough into it and cook for about 2 minutes from the moment they rise to the top. After cooking, remove the gnocchi from the pot and place them on a plate. Do not pour off the water used for boiling, you will need it later.

Now it’s time to prepare the sauce. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, fry chopped garlic, tomatoes, cashews, and chilli until all the ingredients release their flavours. Then add a little TOMATO TABLE HUMMUS to enhance the flavour. Finally, add chopped kale, lemon juice, and water left over fromboiling gnocchi. Season everything with a tablespoon of honey and a heaped tablespoon of butter. Stew the sauce in a pan until the kale is soft. Season with salt and pepper.

Add gnocchi to the sauce in the pan together with a few pieces of Parmesan cheese. Another delicious ideafrom TABLE FOODS is now ready to share with your friends and your loved ones

The tomato hummus can be used to prepare a quick Mexican-style lunch for the next day. You will need a tortilla (you can  purchase it from one of our partners ) and your favourite vegetables. Spread Tomato TABLE HUMMUS on the tortilla, add chopped vegetables, and season with pepper and herbs. Roll the tortilla and cut it in half. Lunch for work or school is ready.

Leave some of the Natural TABLE HUMMUS for a quiet evening with your favourite book. A few carrots cut into sticks will be useful (dry them a bit with a paper towel so as not to leave orange traces on the pages of your new book). Use the hummus as a carrot dip.
